Well, I live in Eagle River, Alaska. I moved here in June of 2006 from California, where I spent all my life. This site was primarily created as a means to stay in touch with friends and family, because I am really not that good at the whole email bit. My husband, Dn. Joseph, and I have five kids ranging from 23 to 16. They all have moved to Alaska with us. Many of them have taken up some pretty extreme sports (snow boarding, ice climbing . . . ack!) A teacher by trade, I am currently working at a local private school, and enjoy playing games (especially dominoes), cross country skiing, and doing needle crafts.
